Where are you located?

Currently, our store is 100% online with no physical location for customers to shop. Our business is operated out of Courtenay, BC.

Do you offer local delivery?

Yes, we are pleased to offer free local delivery for Comox Valley (Courtenay, Comox, Cumberland) residents with a minimum purchase of $40 or for a $5 charge with no minimum purchase.

Do you offer local pick-up?

Yes, we offer free local pick-up of orders at our Courtenay location. Please select this option at check-out and we will notify you when your items are ready for pick-up with contact-less pick-up instructions.

How are you offering contact-less exchanges?

We are offering contact-less exchanges in the following ways:

Free local curbside pick-up of orders at our Courtenay location booked through appointment to prevent overlap of customers.

Free pick-up of consignment items within the Comox Valley and surrounding area (Courtenay, Comox, Cumberland, Royston, Union Bay, Buckley Bay, Fanny Bay, Dove Creek, Grantham, Merville, Black Creek, Williams Beach, Saratoga Beach or Oyster River). Consignors can leave their gently used items outside their home with their full name clearly labelled on the outside and we will send them an email offer within 2 weeks of pick-up. For any items not accepted, consignors have the option to pick-up their items within 2 weeks or have them donated to a charity of Bumbles & Clover's choice.

Free drop-off of consignment items at our Courtenay location through appointment only to prevent overlap of customers.

Shipping

What are your shipping rates?

Shipping is offered only to addresses within Canada at this time via Canada Post for a $10 flat fee.

Orders over $60 qualify for free standard shipping.

Returns

What happens if I am not happy with an item I purchased?

At this time, we are only offering returns for store credit only, no refunds will be provided.

We do our best to curate a collection of clothing that is in optimal condition and provide as many details and pictures so that you can get the best idea of what you are purchasing. Occasionally some items slip through our diligent inspection process, so if you are not happy with your purchase, please contact us immediately at hello@bumblesandclover.ca.

Our policy lasts 14 days from the date you receive your ‘Order Fulfillment’ email telling you your item(s) have been shipped or are ready for pick-up. To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must have any tags that were attached and be in the same condition as you received it. If original packaging was received (for example, a shoebox), this must also be included with your return.

Item(s) must be packaged in comparable packaging to what it was received in and must be sent via tracked mail, at your cost.

Consignment

How long are your consignment terms?

We consign items for 4 months from the day the items go live on our website. After the 4-month term, consignors are paid out via cash or store credit.

What do you pay for consignment items?

We offer a choice between a buyout or 4-month consignment term. If you select a buyout, you receive 20% of the list price in the form of an e-transfer for any items we purchase from you at the time of pick-up.

Consignors have a choice between 35% cash back via e-transfer or 50% store credit via an electronic gift card both payable at the end of the 4-month consignment term. Learn more about How It Works.

How do I get my items to you that I want to consign?

We offer free pick-up of consignment items within the Comox Valley and surrounding area (Courtenay, Comox, Cumberland, Royston, Union Bay, Buckley Bay, Fanny Bay, Dove Creek, Grantham, Merville, Black Creek, Williams Beach, Saratoga Beach or Oyster River) or consignors can schedule a time to drop-off their items at our Courtenay location. what items do you accept?

We accept clothing, accessories and shoes in sizes NB to 5T. Read our What We Consign page for more information.

Do you accept toys, strollers, baby items, etc.?

No, at this time we are only accepting clothing, accessories and shoes in sizes NB to 5T. Read our What We Consign page for more information.

Do you accept out of season items?

We prefer to accept in season items at this time, however, will make exceptions for special items that we believe will sell off season.

Do you accept handmade or vintage items?

Yes, providing the items are in good condition, are made of quality materials and have a timeless appeal that our customers will want to purchase.

What happens to items that are not accepted for consignment?

When we pick-up your consignment items, we bring them back to our Courtenay location to be assessed within 2 weeks. For any items not accepted, you have a choice to have them donated to a charity of Bumbles & Clover's choice or pick-up them up at our Courtenay location within 2 weeks of receiving your offer email.

What happens to items that do not sell within the 4-month term?

Consignors have the option to have any unsold items returned to them at the end of the 4-month term or have unsold items donated to a local charity of Bumbles & Clover’s choosing. Consignors are responsible for picking up any unsold items within 7 days following the term expiry email and any unclaimed items after that will be considered abandoned and donated to charity.
